The Beech Tree is a family restaurant and bar situated just north of Glasgow at the foot of the landmark Dumgoyne Hill. What makes the Beech Tree so special? It combines a country setting with good comfort food, good service, a large family garden with kids play area, lots of animals, & a small ice cream & gift shop. The menu is wide-ranging and accessible to all tastes. Our staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. We have customers who have been coming for years, and many more new faces since our extensive improvements to the facilities and menu.
We welcome everyone, from families to solitary walkers, cyclists, courting couples to lunching ladies. The animals our customers can see at the Beech Tree are Pygmy Goats, Ducks, Rabbits, Sheep, Chinchillas, Guinea Pigs, Mini Shetland Ponies, Tortoise, Hamster, Goldfish, Quails, Silkie Chickens & Aviaries with mixed Birds. We are constantly making improvements so it is better for you every time you come.
Your dogs are welcome on a lead
We allow dogs in the bar area & dogs are welcome in the garden, but not in the conservatory area.
All dogs must be on a lead, for the safety of children running around & our animals. We have provided a fresh water bowl at the front door for them to have a drink & we now sell Scoops Ice cream for Dogs!

We rehome animals when we can. Our animals give so much enjoyment to kids that visit and provide subtle education.
We would love it if you can help us by sponsoring an animal, which will help us with their feed costs, vet bills & all the care that goes into looking after our animals. We want to provide the best home for all our animals which have become part of the Beech Tree family.
