Drummore Primary School

Recently we have been working with Drummore Primary School. They bring out some kids, take them for a walk up the west highland way & round our wildlife garden. Then come back for juice & ice cream before we take them round all the animals

Knightswood Primary

We also supported Knightswood Primary with the “Soup Club”. For 3 years we went to the school on a Saturday morning for six weeks & taught the primary school kids how to make a pot of Soup. We did three groups each morning & with only 45 minute sessions the kids learn’t & make themselves a pot of soup. We have been amazed at how the kids who couldn’t even hold a knife at the beginning, take only 6 Saturdays & are comfortably making their own pot of soup…& its really tasty soup

After the six weeks, all the kids came out to the Beech Tree to have some soup & spend sometime with the Animals.

Every year we provide a base for them
